Farewell, my friend, you've left quite a legacy of your accomplishments, and have been an outstanding example of the many good things from the State of Mississippi. I'm grateful we had a chance to visit in Picayune a few years ago. Your classmates from the Central High School Class of 1954 are happy to have known you and have followed your career with interest and pride.

I was so sadden and heart broken to learn of Mr Alexander passing, I was very honored to have had the opportunity to known him. I spent the last month and half taking care of him as a patient and through it all, he still found the sprite to smile and encourage you. He was a wonderful person to work with and to know him was to love him. May GOD be with Mrs Barbara and sons through this hard time, I pray they find peace and know I Truly will miss Mr Alexander and my thoughts will be with them. Sheila Leger

Barbara, we are saddened to learn of Ted"s passing. Ted and I fought a few battles together in our mutual efforts to promote education at the community college level. He was a dedicated professional and a valued colleague. Dot and I will be in Missouri next week and therefore, regretfully, will be unable to attend services for Ted. We will be tending to our grandparent responsibilities. Be assured, you and your whole family are in our thoughts and prayers at this difficult time.

My older sisters attended McComb schools during Dr. Alexander's administration, classes of 1981 and 1984. I finished with the class of 1991, but well remember the incredible impact Dr. Alexander made improving McComb schools.
Prayers for comfort during this time of grief,
Lori Davis Keller
