March of 1983 marked "Spring Training" for Jackson Prep football. I was a rising 10th grader and was somewhat intimidated by all of the seniors. Todd was arguably the best player on our team. Yet, he was the one senior who constantly showed kindness, humility and encouragement to all of us young guys. He displayed great leadership and character on a daily basis. He was a wonderful example for all of us to follow. I have not seen Todd in close to 30 years, but I have not forgotten the kind of person he was. My prayers and thoughts are with his family and friends.

Todd was feared as a pitcher in farm league, little league and pony league. Thank goodness we were on the same teams. Our thoughts and prayers are with ya'll.

Holly, I'm sorry we did not get to see you at the service today. It was a wonderful tribute. I knew from the first time we talked that I had met someone very special, and I was so looking forward to becoming even better friends. Unfortunately, Todd is the best friend I never got to know as well as I would have liked. I'm thankful though for the time we did have. If he has any favorite causes or charities, please let me know. I would love to take the money I owe him for his wonderful help and make a donation in his name. If I can help in any way with winding up his affairs, please call me.

I am so sorry for the loss of such a fine young man. I did not know him, but knew Lady Margaret and Miss Azalea and Brenda Branch, as well as Lynn Thompson. My sympathy goes out to everyone.

A truly talented and nice person! I met him while playing basketball years ago. Everyone should carry that attitude over to life. Play hard and play clean!

Todd was truly one of the kindest people I have ever had the pleasure to know and work with. He would turn himself inside out to help another person. He loved Holly and Rydan more than words can express. I believe God put him in my life and I am all the more blessed in this life to have known Todd.

We have so many fond memories of Todd from triathlons in the late 1980's on off until even the early 2000's. He travelled with us at a few races. Our girls loved him and he was great with them, years before he had his own son. We pray for his family's comfort in this loss.
