Funeral service for Travis Earl Knight of Jackson, MS, will be held on Thursday, June 9, 2016, at 11:00 a.m. at Greater Pearlie Grove M.B. Church, 1640 W. County Line Rd., Jackson, MS 39213.
Visitation is scheduled for Wednesday, June 8, 2016, from 1 - 7 p.m. (family present 5 - 7 p.m.) at Lakeover Funeral Home, 1525 Beasley Rd., Jackson, MS 39206.

In Memory of a Dear Friend and JSU Alumnae
We were long time friends and just reconnected less than a year ago. It was over 20 years since I last saw him. As usual he was his cheerful self.
We know not Gods Plans. If I had of only known. I am grateful that you came into my life, via the Mass Communications Department, Jackson State University. I am so grateful that I fell in love with your spirit for the bibles says to be absent of the body is to be present with the Lord. Your spirit shall live forever. Your assignment was over.

I will never be able to thank you enough for all the good times, lessons, and good old fashion talking you gave me. It seems like this is a dream and I'll wake to hear you say, "Boy you a real fool." I will miss you and that so dearly.
You've touched so many people in your short life time that it's amazing we've lost such a Great Man and roll model, I can only hope to be half as good as you were. Love forever,
