I first visited with big Bill Taylor in 1975 and had the privilege of having luncheon with him. I enjoyed his tour of the factory in Mississippi. I was taken with the chapel he maintained for his family and employees. I always admired Bill and feel honored to have had him consider me a friend. God Bless him.

To the entire Taylor family,
Please let us take this time to convey our heart felt sorrow during this difficult time. We will miss seeing Mr. Bill down at the museum. Our boys always enjoyed the times we spent there. Mr. Bill invited us to stop in and visit any time while in town. He was always interested in our little projects and took time out of his busy schedule to help, always giving words of encouragement and many times needed advice. He will be greatly missed.
Sincerly,

Dear Friends, I have been thinking about you and wish God's peace for you in this trying time of losing your loved one and my friend. I regreted I could not come to Louisville, but had a court meeting in New Orleans called for Saturday to deal with a ethical charge against one of the judges. Sam Taylor called me and asked that I send him a copy of the obituary, and I did that. We all had some great times at the boats--the Amazing Grace and the Bayou Bell. Hope to see you soon. Neal

Dear Mitzie, Lex, Teresa and Robert, it is difficult to put into words the depths of sorrow and peaks of happiness that fill my heart at this time. From the first time I met Mr. Taylor in 1983, he made me feel like a member of his family. His love and friendship was of great comfort to me.
Mr. Taylor touched the lives of many people during his life and I feel blessed and honored to be among them. Bill's subtle way of teaching and negotiating was far better than any MBA school could hope to teach. He taught me more about life, love, friendship, generosity and business than anyone, and more than anyone could expect to know. I know of no other person who touched, in a very positive way, the lives of so many people in so many ways. Mr. Taylor was truly bigger than life. He will be sorely missed.
The extended Ramsey family have all been blessed by knowing Mr. Taylor and we extend our warmest thoughts and prayers to each of you at this time. I love each of you.
