Barbara Jean Harrison

Barbara Jean Harrison (née Fields) May 19, 1940 – October 13, 2025 Barbara Jean Harrison was born on May 19, 1940, in Preston County, West Virginia, to the late Harold M and Clara Fields. Barbara passed away peacefully surrounded by love Monday, October 13th 2025, at Spring Meadows Health and Rehabilitation. Barbara spent the majority of her life in Clarksville where she married Earl Ray Harrison (deceased). Together they had two children, Jane Marie and Mark Ray (deceased). Known for her tireless work ethic, she was equally celebrated for her warmth and generosity - especially in the Trane break room, where her famous cinnamon rolls, chicken puffs, and peanut butter fudge brought joy to her coworkers. She found happiness in baking and decorating countless birthday and wedding cakes for her family and friends. Barbara was preceded in death by her sister, Joyce Marie LaFlamme and her brothers Harold M Fields Jr, William F Fields, Robert Allen Fields and James P Fields. She is survived by her sister Betty Goodowens and many beloved nieces and nephews who will remember her infectious laughter and generous heart, and carry forward her legacy of kindness. Barbara will definitely leave an indelible mark on everyone that new her. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who were lucky enough to know her. Visitation for Barbara will be conducted on October 31st from 11:00 am until 1:00pm at Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Funeral Home with service and burial to follow at Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
