Charles "Chuck" Emery

Charles "Chuck" L. Emery, of Clarksville, TN, passed away on Thursday, September 11, 2025, at the age of 75. Chuck was born in Chicago, IL, on January 25, 1950, to the late Harold Emery and Martha Ruth Watson Emery. Chuck is survived by his wife, Taylor Emery; brother, Paul Emery (Janis); sisters, Susan Haley (Gary), Laurie Barbee (Mike), and Dominique Emery; nephews and nieces, Brian Haley (Jennifer), Natalie George (Chris), John Emery, Sara Emery, Paige Ransdell (Blake), and Danielle Emery; and his dogs, Fred and Daisy. Chuck played music his entire life, some of the bands included Charlie Brown's Generation, Captain Flashback, Mulligan, The Funky Jazz Beavers and The Rubber Duck. He also played solo and with others including one time with his guitar idol, Link Wray. He owned a recording studio in Clarksville and Nashville, TN. Chuck loved reading because he was so curious, and he was a member of the very first Master Gardeners in Clarksville. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, September 20, 2025, at Neal Tarpley Parchman Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until the hour of service at the funeral home.
