Donna Kaye Vickrey Bryan, beloved wife, mother, sister, and grandmother, passed away peacefully on March 30, 2025, in her home in Clarksville, Tennessee, surrounded by her loving family. A native of Clarksville, she was born on October 18, 1952, to the late Kenneth Ross Vickrey, Sr. and Tommye Lewis Vickrey Middleton.
Donna graduated from Clarksville High School in the Class of 1970 before embarking on a successful career. She made a significant impact in marketing and sales, particularly in radio advertising, worked as a Sales Account Representative for the Real Yellow Pages, and finally in Advertising and Sales with AT&T. As a young lady, Donna grew up attending the First Christian Church of Clarksville, where she developed strong values and a commitment to community that she carried throughout her life.
Throughout her life, family was paramount to Donna. She was a devoted and loving wife to her husband, Jim W. Bryan, and nurturing mother to her children, Ross Bryan, Matthew Bryan, Michael Bryan, and Amy Bulman. Her role as a grandmother was one she cherished deeply, leaving a lasting legacy of love with her grandchildren: Kennon, Mylie, Zachery, Matthew, and Seth. Other survivors include her siblings, Ken Vickrey (Bonita), Karen Meacham (John, deceased), and Kathy Terrell; as well as nieces and nephews, Joey Terrell, Jenny Meacham, Josh Terrell, Kasey Terrell Ladd, Kenneth Vickrey III, Wade Vickrey, and Charlie Vickrey. She is also survived by her late mother’s husband, Bob Middleton, and his son, Jim Middleton and family.
The family will hold a visitation on Friday, April 11, 2025, from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM, followed by a Celebration of Life at 2:00 PM at the Chapel of McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home. Rev. Pat Van Dyke will officiate. Following the service, her remains will be inurned at the columbarium at Greenwood Cemetery.
Donna Bryan will be profoundly missed, but her spirit and the love she shared will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew her. Condolences may be made to her family on Donna's tribute page at NaveFuneralHomes.com.
