Joan M Thomas, age 69, of Clarksville, TN passed away on Monday, October 28, 2024, at her home.
Celebration of Life will be held 3 p.m. on Sunday, November 24, 2024, at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home with Dr. Ronny Rains officiating.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, November 24, 2024, from 2 p.m. until the hour of service at the funeral home.
Joan entered this life on October 28, 1955, in Montgomery County, TN to the late Monroe and Robbie Harris Marshall. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Clarksville and devoted to her administrative role with Good Samaritan. She was employed there for over 22 years, and truly had a servant’s heart. Joan was also an avid reader, usually reading 3 to 4 novels a month.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, Macon Marshall.
Survivors include her loving husband of 48 years, John E. Thomas; daughters, Julie (Brandon) Parrish, and Jennifer (Lee) Whitson; grandchildren, Carson Parish, Cole Parrish, and Eddie Whitson. Joan also leaves behind her cousin, Johnnie (Donna) Stevenson.
