John Raymond Thigpen

John Raymond Thigpen, age 71 of Clarksville passed away October 10, 2025 in Clarksville, TN. John was born December 12, 1953 in Killen, AL the son of the late Cecil and Faye Carlin Thigpen. He was preceded in death by one sister, Annette Price. He was long time member of the Montgomery County Conservation Club and was a lifetime member of the local 706. John was a huge crimson tide fan and loved his 1971 Chevy. Loving Husband, Father, Paw Paw and brother. Survivors include his wife of 27 years, Leigh Thigpen; three sons, Daniel (Sarah) Thigpen, Ross (Miriam) Thigpen and Ryan (Breanne) Alday; one daughter, Heather (Joe) Sutton; one sister, Sandy(Greg) Murks and ten grandchildren, Liam, Hannah, Alexis, Bristol, Cole, Ellie Grace, Adalee, Londyn, Levi and Cassian (Caz). A Celebration of life will be 1:00 PM Wednesday October 15, 2025 at Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM Tuesday, October 14, 2025 and from 11:00 until the time of the service on Wednesday.
