The family will receive friends Friday, June 6, 2025 from 4:00 PM- 7:00 PM at the funeral home and again on Saturday from 10:00 AM until the time of service.
Miles, known to most as "Duf", was born on September 22, 1951, in Massena, NY to Lloyd and Mary Dufrane. After spending some time in the United States Marine Corps and a tour in Vietnam, Duf retired after 20 years from the United States Army. Aside from his military career, his greatest achievement was his family. Together with Sandra, his wife of 53 years, Duf would be blessed with a family that he loved and cherished. Spending time with them brought him great joy and he loved taking them on cruises. He also enjoyed reading and had a talent for drawing and painting.
Along with his parents, Duf is preceded in death by his brother, Steve Dufrane. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children: Robert (Melinda) Dufrane, Megan Dufrane, and Amy (Chase) Bearden; grandchildren: Connor Dufrane, Addison Imbush, Hunter Bearden, Audrye Bearden, and Alexis Schulz; siblings: Marilyn (Dale) White, Marcia (Sheldon) Barse, Susan Liner, Barbara Sykes, Glenn Dufrane, Tracey Holmes, and Scott Dufrane; and many more family members and friends.
Please visit Duf's online guestbook at www.sykesfuneralhome.com and share a memory with the family.

I love this family dearly. I will always refer to "Sandra" MOM" .
I "accidentally" borrowed his Karmann Ghia so that I could learn to drive a stick shift. I made it back!!! He handed me a beer and said "Don't do it again "
ALL THE LOVE!!!!!!
