Receiving this News makes my heart heavy! I can say I love Lawrence and her helpfulness she has for all she encounters. She definitely tried to make life better for everyone she meet and on different levels. We worked together in the Warriors unit as I retired from the Military. Our beautician was the same person. Got to visit and call Shontel as much as she was open to receiving. There was time my friend just wanted to be alone. Thank God for her life. She loved her son like no other _ and desired that he gets the best education that is offered. My condolences to her Son and to the Family!! And may the comfort of God be with you both. Grieve in your own process - you shall see God glory.

I'm number, right now. I have a lot to say, but can't put anything together. My heart is heavy. Don't worry Gab will be fine. You taught how to survive at an early age. My friend. Take your rest. Forever in my heart.

I would often love to take pictures of Shontell and she would reluctantly allow me to do so. I want to thank her for friendship, coaching, cooking for me and overall helping in times of need. She helped me tremendously and I am so glad that we got to see each other last week. Praise the Lord and deep condolences to her friends and family.
