A Graveside service for Winston R. Devers, age 82, of Southside, TN, will be Saturday, August 16, 2025 at 12:00 PM at Southside Cemetery with Bro. James Black officiating. The family will receive friends Saturday from 9:30 AM - 11:30 AM at Sykes Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Bryce Devers, Brady Devers, Kyle Workman, Lonnie Devers, Brandon Trainer, and Cary Dunn.
Winston was born and raised in Southside, TN on his family farm. He was a lifelong farmer and framed houses for 55 years.
Winston is preceded in death by his parents, Vernon and Louise Devers; grandson, Trent Dickson; and 10 brothers and sisters. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Kathy Greenup Devers; children, Todd (Sherri) Devers and Amy Workman (Kevin Bumpus); grandchildren: Brady Devers, Kyle Workman, Bryce Devers (Chelsie Johansen); and great-granddaughter, Leah Nicole Trotter-Workman.

I´m sorry for your loss! My prayers and condolences for you and your family! Winston was a hard working man for many years! He was one of the nicest fellows I ever met! We had some good times playing basketball down in the old Southside gym many years ago!
