DEE AHRENT Dee Ahrent, 67, of Corning, AR., passed away Wednesday, September 18, 2024, peacefully at home. Mrs. Ahrent was born in Paragould, AR., on July 13, 1957. Dee devoted 46 years to the nursing field, currently she was working as an R.N. at 1st Choice Healthcare in Corning. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and enjoyed watching their sporting events. She was an avid Cardinal Baseball fan, and her favorite time of year was the Christmas season. She was a member of St. Matthew Lutheran Church in Corning. She married Mark Ahrent on April 2, 1988, and they celebrated 36 years of marriage earlier this year. He survives. Other survivors include her children, Trey (Christian) Bowers of Corning, Marka (Daniel) Davis of Monette, and Matthew Ahrent of Corning; brother, Phil (Emma) Creason of Perryville, MO.; grandchildren, Butler, Dutch, Drennan and Madeline; mother-in-law, Betty Ahrent; brothers-in-law, Alvidean Clarkson and Michael (Rhonda) Ahrent. She was preceded in death by her parents, L.D. and Freda (Pearce) Creason; her sister, Brenda Clarkson and father-in-law, Martin Ahrent. In lieu of flowers the family request the donation be made to Saint Matthew Lutheran Church in her honor. Visitation was held Saturday, September 21, 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services conducted Sunday, September 22, 2024 at 2:00 PM at the funeral home with Rev. Jon Bischof officiating. Burial followed the services in the Corning cemetery.
