Edmund Velyvis Obituary
Edmund is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Cecilia Velyvis (nee Sopko) and his 3 children, Stephen Velyvis (Tanya Gulesserian), Amy Velyvis, and Kathryn (Devin) Napoleon. He will be dearly missed by his grandchildren, Lucas Velyvis, Julia Velyvis, and Mikayla Napoleon. He is also survived by his sister, Giedre Kijauskas and many nieces and nephews.
Edmund was preceded in death by his parents, Kazys and Janina Velyvis.
He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree from John Carroll University and a Masters of Business Administration degree from Baldwin Wallace College. Before retiring, he was a proud business owner for 27 years.
In accordance with Edmund's wishes, there will be no traditional funeral service. The family appreciates your understanding and support during this personal time of reflection.
A private Remembrance Gathering and Celebration of Life will be held later in the summer.
In lieu of flowers, those wishing to honor Edmund are encouraged to make a donation in his name to Hospice of the Western Reserve, P.O. Box 72101, Cleveland 44192, or donate online at www.hospicewr.org
