June Franduto Obituary

June K. Franduto passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of her family on November 10, 2025, in Cleveland, Ohio. Born on March 12, 1958, to Sieglinde Wilson (the late Frank) and the late Porter Evans (the late Margaret), June's journey was one of joy, family, and an unwavering zest for the simple pleasures of life.
June's heart found its match in Matthew Franduto, her beloved husband of 31 years. Together, they built a life rich in love and laughter. She was a loving mother to Melissa Work (Dan), Kurt Hoes (Amy), and Michelle Harper (Doug), guiding them with her wisdom and nurturing spirit. June's legacy continued through her role as a doting grandmother to Atalie and Bryan Hoes; Ben, Logan, Rozlyn, and Serena Work; and Lillianna, Mirabelle, and Nolan Harper. Her love for her grandchildren knew no bounds, and she was always ready to lend a hand or an ear whenever they needed her.
June's siblings, Werner Evans (Kathy), Lonnie Evans, Frank Wilson (Lynn), Mark Wilson, and the late Ken Wilson, will remember her as the sister who brought light and love into every family gathering.
The beach, especially Litchfield Beach, was June's sanctuary, where she felt one with the waves and the sand. Her love for biking in the park was matched only by her passion for sewing, a skill she proudly embraced as the family seamstress. June's creativity shone brightest when she crafted Halloween costumes for her grandchildren, each stitch woven with love and care.
A master baker, June's Christmas cookies were legendary, and her New Year's Day celebrations became a treasured tradition, with her home open to all, the table loaded with a feast for family and friends. Her hospitality was unmatched, and her dinners were occasions of warmth and togetherness. June lived life with the philosophy that there was always room for one more drink, one more laugh, and one more cherished moment.
June's passing leaves a void in the hearts of those who knew her, but her spirit will continue to inspire us. Her love for her family, her joy in the simple things, and her ability to make every person she met feel special will be her lasting legacy. June Franduto was the quintessential grandmother, the heart of her family, and a beacon of love and kindness. She will be deeply missed, but her memory will forever be a guiding light for all who were blessed to know her.
ALL SERVICES SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 16, 2025. VISITATION will begin at 1PM until the time of the funeral service at 5PM at JARDINE FUNERAL HOME, 15822 PEARL ROAD, STRONGSVILLE OH 44136. Interment will be private for the family.

Matt, I was so sorry to read about June's passing in the morning paper. We really liked her and I can relate to the grief and pain you must be going thru now. You were always a good friend and JoAnn loved your company and sense of humor. Many good times together on 20¢ wing nights and a trip to Philadelphia. Feel free to contact me at any time that you would like to talk.

That is a wonderful tribute to June! I actually didn't know how talented she was. When we met in 10th grade, she was a hippie chick. I am proud to call her a friend after all these many years.
My sincere condolences to Matt, and all the family. I know this a terrible time for you and my heart is with yours.
Love you Junie Moon, rest in peace now my friend

To Matt and the entire Franduto Family,

I am so sorry for your loss of June. Before I retired in 2020, June and I (as well as about 6 or 7 other employees) shared the same Office space in the I/T building at Swagelok in Solon, OH. We talked once after we both retired in 2005, but sadly lost touch with each other in these last 5 years. Please accept my most sincere condolences for the loss of June. Rest in Peace June Franduto.
