PHYLLIS E. WARNER

age 88, of Mount Vernon, OH, passed away on Tuesday, November 28, 2017 at the Country Court Nursing Home in Mount Vernon, OH. She was born on January 21, 1929, on Big A Mountain in Honaker, VA, to the late James and Thressa (Meade) Combs. Phyllis was a 1946 graduate of Centerburg High School. She has been a member of Palmyra Church of Christ for over 25 years. Phyllis retired from Western Reserve Psychiatric Hospital in Walton Hills, OH. She enjoyed sewing, quilting, camping, and cooking for family and friends. She loved, and cherished her time traveling with her husband Raymond. A special thanks to the kind and caring staffs at Hospice of Knox County and Country Court Nursing Home. She is survived by her children, Michael (Sharlene) Warner of Cleveland Hts, OH, Brenda Coon of Fredericktown, OH, Cheryl (Frank) Gambosi of Twinsburg, OH, Janet (Jeff) Sell of Fredericktown, OH; 8 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Along with her parents, Phyllis is preceded in death by her husband Raymond E. Warner; brothers and sisters, Ralph, Joe Roger, Robert, Allen, Douglas and Glenn Combs and Shirley Zinn; and a great-grandson, Connor Briegel. Calling hours will be held on Friday, December 1, 2017 from 11:00 AM until the time of service at 12:00 PM at the Snyder Funeral Home; 33 E. College St. Fredericktown, OH, 43019 with Evangelist Troy Northrop officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Cemetery in Fredericktown, OH.
