Rebecca Crowder Obituary

Rebecca Crowder, age 59, passed away peacefully on Tuesday February 25, 2025 at her home in Deepwater, Missouri surrounded by close friends and family.
Rebecca was born March 7, 1965 in Clinton, MO the daughter of Charles Wayne Nation and Shirley E Clark. Rebecca spent her life in the service of others and in 2024 she was baptized. Devoting her time to friends, family, and growing closer to her Lord and Savior. She loved her family, the outdoors, fishing, and a good conversation.
Rebecca was preceded in death by her parents, numerous uncles and aunts.
Survivors include her partner in crime and husband, John Crowder of the home, two sons Nathaniel A Thornley of Deepwater, MO, Leonard Crowder Springfield, MO, her brother Jim Houk (Erin) of Clinton, MO, her goddaughter Jessica Dawn Bailey Calhoun, MO, grandson Braden Conner Smith of Iowa, numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held Friday, February 28, 2025 at the Mound Baptist Church with Brian Miller officiating. Special music included "Hallelujah, Amazing Grace and I Think It's Jesus." Interment followed in Urich Cemetery, Urich, MO.
Services were under the direction of Vansant-Mills Funeral Home of Clinton, MO.
