JAMES MORRISON Obituary
JAMES "JIM" PATRICK
MORRISON IV
James "Jim" Patrick Morrison IV, 58, of Clinton Mass., passed away on December 24, 2024, of natural causes.
Son of the late James and L. "Bonnie" (Wyne) Morrison, Jim was raised and educated in Clinton. Throughout his four years at Clinton High School, he was a valued player on the Galloping Gaels varsity football team, #83, playing defensive end, and tight end on offense.
Jim had many notable jobs in his life. From opening his own company (Cousin's Construction) with his cousin and partner in crime Rick Edwards, to bartending at Clinton Lodge of Elks, to general contractor at FST, and finally building his career at Hoffman Construction. During his time at Hoffman Construction, Jim relocated and resided both domestically and internationally for years at a time with his final venture/assignment being Ashkelon, Israel.
Though Jim had countless accomplishments throughout his career, his greatest are his two children, James and Meghan Morrison, whom he loved and cherished deeply. They are his pride and joy.
When Jim wasn't working or spending time at home, you could find him down at a local bar, turning strangers into friends and enjoying a glass of Tullamore Dew. He would ensure that the Red Sox game was on and would never shy away from a bet against the Yankees.
To know Jim was to love Jim. Out of all the things Jim was good at, he excelled at lightening the mood, making you laugh, and making you feel as if you've known him forever. He has made a significant impact on everyone that he has met and is truly unforgettable. Jim had a heart of gold.
Jim is survived by wife Rhonda Morrison, children, James Morrison V, and Meghan Morrison, mother L. "Bonnie" Morrison, sister Christina Maher and husband James, cousins Richard and Deborah Edwards, nephews Richard and Harry Edwards, and Thomas and Ryan Maher, and partner Mary Gilmore.
Jim is without a doubt one of a kind. He will be forever missed. May he rest in peace.
