SYLVIA GIARD Obituary

SYLVIA MARY GIARD 11/13/1939 - 06/08/2025 Sylvia Mary Giard passed away peacefully on June 8, 2025. Born on November 13, 1939, in Clinton, Mass., she was the daughter of the late Everett S. and Sylvia H. (Stokes) Kittredge. Mary grew up in Clinton and attended Clinton schools. Over the years, Mary worked at Clinton Hospital and River Terrace Healthcare while raising her family. She enjoyed traveling to Aruba and her "favorite place" Bermuda, watching Hallmark movies, Jeopardy and The Amazing Race. She was also an avid reader. Mary is survived by her daughters, Michelle (Brian) Boothby of Southbridge, Mass., and Janeen (Steve) Ramsdell of Shirley, Mass., and their families. She is also survived by her son-in-law, Donald "Tim Baer", and her grandchildren, Corey Lyn Giard (Brian Ard) and Michael B. (Colleen) Baer, and her beloved great-granddaughter, Bella Kathleen, all in Texas. She is survived by many nieces, cousins and extended family, as well as dear friends and neighbors who helped her tremendously over the last several years. Mary was predeceased by her husband Lionel (Lee), her daughter Kathleen Baer and her sister Arlene Walker. At Mary's request, there will be no services. In lieu of flowers, we ask that you make a donation to a charity of your choice in her memory.
