Buck Holland
CLINTON — Mr. Buck Anthony Holland, 83, died Friday, Oct. 1, 2021, at his home.
A graveside service was held Monday, Oct. 4, at Clinton Cemetery with Rev. Chris O'Briant officiating. Family received friends following the service.
Born on Nov. 29, 1937 in Sampson County, Mr. Holland was the son of the late Roy and Lollie Daughtry Holland. He was a retired employee with the NC Department of Corrections and a Veteran of the United States Air Force.
He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Maxine Naylor Holland; one daughter, Pamela Combs and husband Jeff of Clinton; a grandson, William Blake Tew (Jennifer Westbrook); great-grandson, William Paul Tew; two step-grandsons, Dustin Combs of Dallas, Texas and Josh Combs and family of Snow Hill, NC.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Teresa Holland.
