Eithel Norris Obituary
GARLAND — Mrs. Eithel Merritt Norris, 98, of 1657 Norris Road, died Friday, Aug. 25, 2017 at her residence.
Ms. Norris was preceded in death by her parents Ben and Mittie Blackmon Merritt, her husband Henry Lee Norris and one grandson Dale Register, five sisters and four brothers.
Funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 29, at Carter Funeral Home by the the Rev. Michael Salisbury and Dr. Teresa Ammons. Burial will follow at Garland Cemetery.
Ms. Norris is survived by two daughters, Carolyn Register of Rose Hill and Lois Peterson of Garland; one son, Jimmy Lee Norris of Garland; four grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held 1-1:45 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 29, at Carter Funeral Home in Garland.
Service by Carter Funeral Home.
