Eric L. Knowles, 57
SALEMBURG — Mr. Eric Lynn Knowles, 57, of 2317 N. Salemburg Hwy., died on Friday, March 21, 2014 at Sampson Regional Medical Center in Clinton.
The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 25, at Bonnetsville Church of God of Prophecy with the Rev. Donald Massey officiating. Burial will follow at Calvary Tabernacle Pentecostal Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery in Salemburg.
Mr. Knowles was born on Aug. 14, 1956 in Sampson County to the late Fermon and Elizabeth Ann Faircloth Knowles. He is preceded in death by: his parents; and one brother, Tony Knowles. He was a retired carpenter.
He is survived by: one daughter, Ryan Cribbs and husband, Robert of Salemburg; four grandchildren, Kali, Emma, Emmett and Aaron; and one brother, Elton Knowles of Salemburg.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, March 24, at Bonnetsville Church of God of Prophecy, 3497 Roseboro Hwy., Clinton, and other times at the home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Butler Funeral Home, P.O. Box 638, Roseboro, N.C. 28382 to help with funeral expense.
