Jane C. Howard
GARLAND — Mrs. Jane Coble Howard, 82, of 407 Greens Bridge Road, died Sunday, Jan. 8, 2017 at Rex Hospital in Raleigh, N.C.
The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 11, at Antioch United Methodist Church with the Rev. Erin Smith, the Rev. Odell Peterson and the Rev. Richard Smith officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Howard is preceded in death by her husband, Wayne Howard Sr., and one daughter-in-law, Sharon C. Howard.
Mrs. Howard is survived by her son, Wayne Howard Jr. and wife Gloria; two daughters, Clara Johnson and husband Ronnie and Myra Johnson and husband Ricky, all of Garland; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and a special friend, Betty Ann Carroll.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 10, at Carter Funeral Home in Garland. Online condolences may be sent to www.carterfh.com.
