ROSEBORO — Mabel Lockamy Hall, 84, of Roseboro, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, Oct. 9, 2025 at Village Green Health and Rehabilitation in Fayetteville surrounded by her family.
A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 14, at Butler Funeral Home in Roseboro with Reverend Andy Wood, Reverend Dennis Guy and Reverend Larry McCarty officiating. The burial will follow at Roseboro Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 13, at Butler Funeral Home in Roseboro.
Mabel was a native of Sampson County, the daughter of Minson and Eva Johnson Lockamy. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Roland G. Hall; and two brothers, Percy "Jim" Lockamy and Howard Lockamy.
Mabel retired from working with civil service for over 30 years.
She leaves to cherish her memory her son, Phillip Young; two stepchildren, Terry Hall and wife, Katrina; and Bobbi Hall Shoop and husband, Brian; two grandchildren, Alexandra Young and Seth Young; four stepgrandchildren, Kolbi Clark, Kylee Shoop, Kalyn Shoop and Noah Hall; her stepgreat-grandson, Robert Clark; and her goddaughter, Katie Lockamy Lynch.
In lieu of flowers donation may be made to Long Branch Baptist Church, 2868 Minnie Hall Road, Autryville, NC 28318.
Services entrusted to Butler Funeral Home, 401 W Roseboro Street, Roseboro, NC 28382.
