NEWTON GROVE — Martha Lois (Johnson) King, 97, of Newton Grove, passed away Friday, Sept. 5, 2025 at home.
The funeral service will be held at noon on Saturday, Sept. 13, 2025, at Lisbon Street Missionary Baptist Church, Clinton, with Elder Samir Skinner officiating.
Interment in Roseboro Cemetery, Roseboro.
Mrs. King is survived by daughters, Peggy (Robert) McCauley of Cary, Shirley (Carmelo "Tito") Sanchez of Raleigh, and Angela (Bruce) McKenna of Winston-Salem; sons, David (Eva) King Jr., Curtis (Martha) King, Jerry W. (Linda) King and Dexter King, all of Newton Grove, William King of Benson, and Amos (Starr) King of Stokesdale; 29 grandchildren, 60 great-grandchildren and 18 great-great-grandchildren.
Public viewing at the church from 11 a.m. to noon on Saturday, Sept. 13, 2025.
