Delilah Griffis Obituary
DELILAH JANE GRIFFIS of Madison, W.Va., passed away April 4, 2023, after a long illness.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter Rhodes and Florence Miller Rhodes; husbands Ronald Stevens and William Griffis; brothers and sisters Tracy Rhodes, Arthur Rhodes, Sandra (Troy) Green, and Mary (Andy) Sava.
She worked at Boone Memorial Hospital for 22 years. During her time there she made many friends and touched many lives. She was a wonderful mother and a great friend. She will be deeply missed.
Left to cherish her memory are her son, Ronnie Stevens of Madison, W.Va.; granddaughter Caroline Kuhn of Louisa, Ky.; brother Jerry Ball of Lick Creek, W.Va.; and nieces and nephews London (Eric) Meade of Madison, W.Va., Kathy (Bobby) Mullins of Rocky Face, Ga., Sheila (Stevie) Ingram of Fuquay-Varina, N.C., Sandy (Ernie) Brown of Fuquay-Varina, N.C., Macie Sava of Madison, W.Va., Randy Rhodes of Robinson, W.Va., and Jerry Ball of Danville, W.Va.
Honring her wishes there will be no services.
Handley Funeral Home in Danville, W.Va., assisted the family.
