Naomi Hatfield Obituary


NAOMI RUTH HILL HATFIELD, a past service personnel employee of Boone County Schools and a longtime resident of Turtle Creek, WV, entered the Pearly Gates of Heaven on August 22, 2025, at the age of 91.
She was a long-standing member of Olive Branch Missionary Baptist Church of Turtle Creek, WV.
Naomi was preceded in death by her parents, Julia Bell and Elbert Berry of Turtle Creek, WV; husband, and father of their four children, Harvey Hill; late husband Charles Hatfield; and daughter, JoAnna Cozad.
Naomi is survived by her husband, Ronald Hatfield; daughters Nancy (Bruce) Faulkner, Julia "Libby" (Gary) Silva; son Timothy (Angela) Hill; grandchildren Adrianna (William) Muster, Matthew (Jordan) Faulkner, Traci Linville, Amber (Jereme) Browning, Julia (Timmy) Day, Chandler DeBord, Tyler (Alyssa Stone) Hill, Peyton (Kierra Bartey) Hill; great-grandchildren JW Muster, Jereme (Mariah Vance) Browning, Aayla (Jamison Walker) Browning, Kaylee (Kody Sesco) Nelson, Kadan Nelson, Aalia Browning, Archer Browning, Ridge Day, Cameron Faulkner, and Pyper Faulkner. Naomi was so excited to have recently found out that she was going to become a Great- Great-Grandmother in March 2026. She is also survived by her very special niece, Shelby Hill, and many other nieces, nephews, friends, and family.
Services at 2 p.m., Monday, August 25, 2025, at Handley Funeral Home in Danville, WV, officiated by Jeff Mosteller and Justin Thompson. Visitation one hour prior to the service. Burial in Memory Gardens in Madison, WV. You may express your condolences at www.handleyfh.com.
