Abdullah Miles

1978 - 2019

On May 23, 1978 a blessing was given to Mr. Francis and Mrs. Sheila Miles, Abdullah K. Miles. He was a very unique person and was loved by many. Abdullah was born in Philadelphia Pennsylvania. He attended Martha Washington Elementary School. Upon relocating to Hinesville, Georgia, he attended the public schools of Liberty County, graduating from Bradwell Institute. He moved back to Philadelphia, Penn. While there he became disabled but he kept his head up and never gave up trying. Abdullah was loved by many. He enjoyed painting and drawing, there was never a camera he didn't love.
He leaves to mourn and to cherish his memory, his beloved mother, Sheila Miles; father, Francis Miles; brother, Richard Hubbard (Michelle); sister, Aisha Miles; stepmother, Annette; a very loving grandmother, Mary Clark; uncles, Earl Hubbard, Jr., Gary Hubbard (Yolanda), Keith and Kevin Rodgers, Chico, Earl, and Nate Miles; aunts, Diane Hall (James), Bobbie Cannon, Sandy Brown (Vincent), Ardillia Rankin (Owen), Nannette Steven, Vernisa Miles, and Winnie Miles; Godparents, Guy and Debra Mann; special friends, Pokey and Mike, also last but not least, his dogs, Duncan, Denum, Desil - his babies; several Godchildren and a host of family and friends.
Visitation is from 9-11 a.m. Wednesday, February 6, 2019 at Frank V. Givens Memorial Chapel at Dorchester Funeral Home. Funeral service begins at 11 a.m., Wednesday, February 6, 2019 at Frank V. Givens Memorial Chapel at Dorchester Funeral Home. Interment will be in First Zion Church Cemetery. Dorchester Funeral Home will be handling the arrangements.
