Daniel Davis Obituary

Daniel Edward "Danny" Davis was born on April 15th, 1975, at St. Joseph's Hospital in Savannah, Georgia, at 7:49 a.m.
Danny's the handsome, amazing son of the late Marvin Edward "Eddie" Davis and Marie Catherine "Chris" Davis of Bloomingdale, Georgia. Danny had one older brother, the late Michael "Mike" Davis; and one younger sister, Sheri Davis.
Danny Davis was the proud, devoted father of seven precious children and five precious grandchildren. Danny's four biological children include Matthew Daniel Davis, Madison Danielle "Davis" Hayes, Ethan Michael Davis and Brandon Edward Davis. He was a devoted father to Donna's three biological children, Phillip Daniel Scroggin II, Rebecca Brooke Skeen and David Thomas Scroggin.
Danny's five grandchildren were very precious to him, Roxanne Hadassah Scroggin, Violet Eve Scroggin, Aldon Augustus Skeen and Austin Alexander Skeen and one biological grandchild, granddaughter Harper Ray Hayes.
Danny was with his wife, Donna, at their home in Midway, Georgia, when he passed away on November 25th, 2024, and Danny died in his wife, Donna's, arms on their back deck at 6:14 p.m. at 49 years of age.
Danny's life was truly blessed by God! Danny was very smart, strong, handsome, loyal, protective, talented, compassionate, giving and amazing! Most importantly, Danny loved Jesus, his Lord and Savior, with all his heart!
Danny, now in heaven, is dancing and singing with the angels and Danny Davis is a child of the most high God and one day those who've accepted Christ Jesus will see Danny again!

Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 4, 2024, from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Thomas L. Carter Funeral Home in Flemington.
Pallbearers: Jacob Hayes, Matthew Davis, Ethan Davis, Brandon Davis, Phillip Scroggin II and David Scroggin.
The funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 5, 2024, at noon at The CrossRoad Baptist Church, 8510 Middleground Road, Savannah, Georgia 31406. Burial will follow in Daniel Cemetery on Highway 17.
Thomas L. Carter Funeral Home & Crematory is in charge of the arrangements.

My dear friend Danny, I met you in 1983 at Bloomingdale Elementary... I had no idea you passed away... you were always the funnest guy in class and never a dull moment around you... Little did I know we lived in same town and I will visit you resting place often...Please rest easy my childhood friend.

I worked with Danny back in the day at the Pulp Mill in Port Wentworth. He was a hard worker, good employee and a great co-worker. I saw him in 2024 at Lighthouse Baptist Church when his wife sang for our revival. This was a shock to find out just recently of his passing.
