Jeff Prewitt Obituary
Jeff was born in Orleans, France, on a military base and when returning to the states lived on multiple military instillations until his father retired in Hinesville where Jeff met his wife Angel. He was a graduate of Beach High School and attended Georgia Tech, then later moved to Michigan where he worked for the funeral industry as a computer programmer. They stayed in Michigan for over 20 years.
Jeff enjoyed cooking, fishing, and spending time with his bulldog Raven who misses him very much.
He is predeceased by his father, Delbert "Del" Prewitt; brother, Stephen Prewitt; grandparents, Harlan (Ilene) Prewitt; and Rex (Dorotha) Morris.
Jeff is survived by his mother, Barbara Prewitt; wife Angel Prewitt; three brothers; Brian Prewitt, Mark Prewitt and Rodger (Joy) Prewitt.
The family would like to give special thanks to Joe Mongar, who helped care for Jeff at his home through this difficult time. It wouldn't have been possible without his wonderful care and kind heart.
Memorial services will be from 1-3 p.m. Saturday, April 6, at Carter Funeral Home Oglethorpe Chapel in Hinesville.

I loved Mr. Jeff! I will always remember the trip to Michigan to see yall after yall left Georgia. And the many nights at Hilliard's and Spanky's after the races. Good times at my house and yalls. Loved Stella too! I have nothing but wonderful childhood memories of Angel and Jeff, who have always been a part of my life even though they went to Michigan. Love you very much Angel and words cannot express my thoughts...prayers to you and your family. Sorry for your loss.

Jeff was a wonderful man who ws very kind hearted and cared deeply for people. He was awesome. Angel my heart goes out to you and words could never express how I feel. I love you both and I will always be there for you just as you and Jeff were always there for me.
