Dear Quick family, I would like to express my deepest sympathy in your loss of Johnathan. So many years have passed since I taught Johnathan in Kindergarten at Windsor Forest Elementary. I always remember his good nature and his smile. I also remember he had to go to Atlanta for some extensive surgery and how he just took it all in his stride. What an amazing gift he was to all who knew him. You are in my thoughts and prayers as you cope with your loss. I will always remember this special child of God. I am thankful that my life was touched by his. Sincerely, Nancy McCorkle

Dear David and Family,
I just returned from the funeral service for Johnathan, and, even though I was never blessed to meet him, I now know how truly wonderful he was. I can not recall ever seeing as much love expressed for a loved one who has been called home. David, you displayed remarkable strength, courage, and love during the ceremony. I have great respect and admiration for you. Johnathan was certainly blessed to have a father so caring and loving. My prayers are with you and your family. May God continue to bless you.

Dear Quick family,

There are no words to express our heartful sympathy for your loss. Jonathan was such a special young man and was loved by many. We will always remember him smiling with joy when he would talk to "Zach Attack". He and your family have been an inspiration for families with "special children". Thank you for sharing him with us and for all your kindness to "our" Zach. We will never watch a Georgia Bulldog game without thinking of Jonathan-Go Dawgs!

Ruth, Joan and I are greatly sadden to learn of Jonathan’s passing. Ruth was a classmate of Jonathan’s at Liberty High and we always loved speaking to him at school. I remember one Christmas play he was in at middle school and he did such a wonderful job. He always smiles and greeted us when Ruth would walk into the room. Know that our hearts go out to you and our prayers are with you. Jonathan is no longer a special needs child, he is one of God’s special children healed in His presence.

To the Quick Family: I was shocked to hear of Johnathan's passing. He was such an encourager in his piano class. He always wanted to tell me something about the Bulldogs or Racing. I will truly miss him and will be praying for you all during these days. May God's Grace and Mercy surround you this day.

Melissa and Krysta Lovett

November 25, 2007

Every time that Krysta and I would see Johnathan he would wait patiently for everyone to say their "hellos," then he would point his finger at me and say, "I got something to tell you." That always made my heart smile that he was excited to share something with me and had held on to that thought until he delivered me his message. It let me know that I was important to him. I just hope that he knows how important he is to me and Krysta. We love you, Johnathan. You've been my inspiration since you first spoke to me. When I get to Heaven, I hope you are there waiting to say..."I got something to tell you."
