Daisylee Ware Obituary

Daisylee Ware
3/1/2016

Daisylee Ware, longtime resident and active member of Roseville, Calif. has passed away.
Succumbing to congestive heart failure after battling deteriorating health for several years, she died on March 1, 2016. At the age of 91, Daisylee, the beloved wife to Don who passed away March 15, 1998, mother to sons David and Tom, and daughter Carol, eight grandchildren and two great-grandkids will miss Daisylee’s loving presence, smile and happiness.
Born in Selma, Calif., Daisylee supported her husband and family’s growth in Berkeley, Napa, and moving to Roseville in 1963. Daisylee and husband Don were active supporters and members in Roseville community organizations. Daisylee returned to college at age 50 to complete her formal college education in 1975, soon after opening a very successful custom interior design and drapery business.
Daisylee was active in Roseville Soroptimist International supporting business and professional women worldwide, the American Red Cross, and was a 63 year member of the local PEO International that provides philanthropic opportunities for women.
Daisylee loved to paint, the impressionist period being one of her passions. She greatly enjoyed her regular bridge outings “with just the girls.” Her frequent attendance and support of her church added to the many that adored her dearly.
Daisylee loved gardening and spending time with her family and relaxing at their “sky home” mountain cabin. Learning of Daisylee’s passing; one of her grandsons said it best in his Facebook post: She was Nana to so many - loved by all - a woman who had more friends than anyone - she was surrounded by love and gave it freely - so many wonderful memories - truly lived a full life - you will be missed deeply but I am happy about your reunion with Papa - enjoy heaven Nana (insert famous wilderness Ware call). Daisylee’s family and close friends will now carry on her love of life.
A memorial service and reception honoring and celebrating Daisylee’s life will be held at the Centerpoint Community Church in Roseville, Calif., 515 Sunrise Avenue on Saturday, April 2, 2016 at 11 a.m. The family requests that donations may be made to the Centerpoint Community Church.

Tom, Dave and Carol
I am so sorry I could not attend the celebration of your mom's life. Daisylee was a fun, warm person with a welcoming smile. She made all of us "kids" feel at home. I am proud to have known her.
