RIP Bob, We will all miss you at the Fort Collins Iowa Club game watches. You were the ultimate fan and everyone loved you...especially your black and gold "Cat in the Hat", Hat! I don't know what we will do without you, we always counted on the luck of your hat for a victory. Our condolences to Mary and family, we will keep you in our memory forever.

RIP Bob
June 9, 2019
Brother Bob was a force-of-nature with a can-do attitude. One of my earliest memories of Bob was while visiting New Jersey in 1985. Jim mentioned a woodworking supply company in NYC, and without hesitation, Bob said well let's go! My reaction: DRIVE into Manhattan with a van what, are you crazy?? Nope--everyone piled into the van and off we went to the Big Apple. We even found a parking spot. Really. I couldn't believe it. Who was this guy?!
Fast forward to one of the seasonal holidays, Thanksgiving or Christmas. The plans were to drive from New Jersey to the family homestead in Maquoketa, Iowa. My thought: A couple days drive there, and a couple more days drive back, not much time for visiting in Iowa. Wrong a second time. Once again, we all piled in the van and drove, pausing only for gas and pitstops, until we reached Maquoketa in less than 24 hours. We took turns at the wheel and sandwiching in the back to catch some z's. We even brought our new beagle pup, Little Dudley, who squeaked with indignation when someone rolled over on him.
Similar stories over the 34 years I have known Bob could fill a book. Fond memories of a memorable man. He will be missed.
