Gail Hart

Sandra Gail Hart passed away Wednesday, Jan. 23, 2008, at her home. A native of Lenore, N.C., Ms. Hart was born April 9, 1943.

Ms. Hart was a graduate of the Presbyterian Hospital School of Nursing in Charlotte, N.C. She married, moved to Fredericksburg and devoted her life to raising two sons while serving as a registered nurse at Mary Washington College and then Mary Washington Hospital.

She was a member of Fredericksburg Baptist Church and the Mary Martha Sunday school class. She was a proud and loving mother, generous and loyal friend and faithful follower of the Lord.

Survivors include her two sons, Douglas H. Gebert of Maryland and D.K. Gebert of Fredericksburg; one brother, Ralph Hart Jr. of North Carolina; two aunts, Bess and her husband, Bill, of Roanoke, and Cile of South Carolina.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 27, at Fredericksburg Baptist Church. A reception and visitation will follow in the fellowship hall.

Memorials may be made to Fredericksburg Baptist Church Special Friends Ministry, 1019 Princess Anne St., Fredericksburg, Va. 22401.
