Rebecca Laviner Obituary
Rebecca Dawn Laviner passed away on January 19, 2017 in Fort Collins. Becky was born March 22, 1953 at Francis E. Warren Air Force Base in Cheyenne, Wyoming to Wilma Acheson and Clayton Laviner. With her father in the military she moved often with her family. First to Colorado, then to Tachikawa, Japan, Patrick Air Force Base Florida, Tachikawa, Japan (again) and Minot Air Force Base, North Dakota. When her father retired from the Air Force they moved to Fort Collins where she attended and graduated from Fort Collings High School and from CSU with a degree in Political Science. She got the first job she applied for at US News and World Report magazine in Washington DC on the interview staff where she worked for several years.
She moved back to Fort Collins where she had a business, Alpha Bytes Plus. When her health started to fail she was able to do beautiful needlepoint and counted cross stitch. She was also a talented seamstress.
Becky loved all kinds of music, particularly classic country. She had also been a talented pianist.
She was preceded in death by her father. She is survived by her mother, brother, Jaime Laviner of Loveland, nephew Robbie Wilshire of Brighton, a special uncle, Roger Laviner of St. Mary's, Georgia as well as cousins and her special friends.
Funeral services were held January 24th, 2017 at Drake Road Christian Church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Drake Road Christian Church, in care of Resthaven Funeral Home.

As a classmate of Becky's at both FCHS and CSU, I always remember her as a kind and gentle soul with many talents and much to offer this world.
