Jason John Spettel

1980 - 2023

Jason Spettel, 43, of Denver, Colorado, passed away on September 7, 2023 in a tragic motorcycle accident. He was born in Hayward, California. During his childhood, Jason lived in six different states before settling in what he fondly called "home" – Green Bay, Wisconsin, where he graduated from Ashwaubenon High School in 1998. Jason's adventurous spirit brought him to Denver where he could enjoy the mountains during his adult life. ?

Throughout the years Jason wore many hats-motorcycle enthusiast, gifted mechanic, computer specialist, tattoo connoisseur, card player, movie lover, and a dedicated Green Bay Packers fan. He could frequently be spotted zipping through mountain roadways on his bike because that was his ultimate passion. He also had a knack for fixing and repairing things like cars, his beloved motorcycles and anything computer related. ??Apart from his passions, Jason had a playful side. Bowling nights, pool games and his vast hobby collections spoke of a man who believed in living life to the fullest. He cherished deep conversations, hearty laughs, while also valued solitude at home with his beloved labrador dogs, Alpine and Timber. ??Jason is survived by his mother Diane (Spettel) Riley (Steve), brother Justin Spettel (Christine), ex-wife Jennifer Spettel, half-sisters Kathie Button and Kelley Spettel, half-brother Chris Spettel and Step-Brother Stephen Riley (Katie). Along with well-loved nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. He is preceded in death by his father Jack Spettel, his half-brother John Spettel and his fur babies Canyon and Summit.??While his time on earth was cut short, the mark he left behind is meaningful. He designed his life exactly as he envisioned. True to his nature he lived an enjoyable and fulfilling life. ?
