I remember coming to your house when Doris and I were teens; I always felt welcome and there was warmth in your home. John was a very nice father and he loved you all. I loved the faith John and you had for your family.

Just read about John's death in the online Herald this morning. So many good memories of your family when we all lived down on 3rd Ave. Pictures of us kids riding tricycles and at birthday parties. I remember that you helped with our wedding reception, Elayne. Seems like so long ago and in a more innocent and pleasant time.
You are all in our thoughts and prayers.
