John Harvey Williams

1957 - 2022

John Williams of Arvada, CO passed away unexpectedly.. He was an active member and mentor of various AA communities, Salvation Army, the Hornbuckle Foundation, and The Elks Club . Besides motorcycle riding, his passions included fishing, jet skiing ,range shooting, boating, camping ,and traveling. He never missed an opportunity to helps those in need with encouragement, and showing them the light of the Lord. Born in Pittsburgh Pa., and has lived in Colorado since an early age. His vocations included Climax mine in Leadville, Mountain Bell Denver, Real estate appraisal, nursing at Denver Health, and owner of Westminster Arms, one of the most respected gun shops in Colorado. He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Traci , his son Ryan Hinderlighter, daughter Tarra O'Leary, sister Constance Williams Erickson, Brothers Neil Williams, James de Steiguer, and Edwin Williams. He will also be missed by his Boxer dogs Rocco and Ruby. John led many hearts and souls to the Lord , was known for his positive attitude, and was blessed with many friendships. Johns' memorial will be held at Red Rocks Community Church, 7100 Wadsworth Blvd. at 2 pm Friday, June 10th followed by a celebration of life at the Arvada Elks Club located at 5700 Yukon St. Arvada ,CO. 3 to 6 pm.
