Mona Buller Obituary

Mona Rae Buller, 93, of Brighton, Colorado, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family. She was born March 19, 1932, in Abilene, Kansas, to Raymond and Hattie Wittman, and grew up alongside her brothers Kenneth and Robert.
A proud graduate of Longmont High School and one of the first RNs to earn a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Denver in partnership with Presbyterian Hospital, Mona Rae dedicated decades of service to Brighton Community Hospital, where she served as Operating Room Manager.
In 1957, she married James "Jim" Buller, and together they built their home and family farm on Riverdale Road, a beloved gathering place for children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Mona Rae was an active member of Brighton United Methodist Church and was known for her generosity, hospitality, and tireless work ethic.
She is survived by her husband of 68 years, Jim; children Katherine Feis (Mark) and Timothy Buller; grandchildren Anna Lisa Klynhans (Jonathan), Nicholas Buller (Rena), Julia Rae Walker (Michael), Zachary Buller, and Madison Buller; great-granddaughters Isla, Ava, Elia, Margaux, Millie, Florence, and Harper, with another due soon; brothers Kenneth Wittman and Robert Wittman; and many nieces and nephews.
Mona Rae will be remembered for her warmth, her dedication to family, and the love she poured into her home, her community, and her work.
