Robert Earl "Bob" Halstead

1960 - 2025

Bob Halstead's remarkable life, filled with kindness, laughter, and love, came to a close on September 11, 2025, at age 65.
Bob was a devoted father, loyal friend, and tireless advocate in his Evergreen community. Known for his big laugh, generous spirit and Wisconsin pride, he made everyone feel like family. His guiding values were simple and steadfast: do the right thing and be a good dad.
More than anything, Bob was devoted to his daughter, Kristina. He built a life around her joy, creating a world where she felt safe, understood, and deeply loved despite any disabilities. Together, they shared adventures-skiing, camping, cheering at Rockies games, and swimming-each moment filled with laughter and pride. After Kristina's mom, Susanne, passed, Bob became both parents in one, ensuring Kristina stayed active, connected, and surrounded by love.
Bob's care extended far beyond his own family. He cared deeply for Kristina's brothers, Jack and Riley. His relationships ran deep, especially with his brother Scott "Uncle Beef" and his lifelong friend Kevin-relationships built on loyalty, laughter, and shared adventures. Bob was a steady presence in the special needs community and a familiar face at Evergreen events, always showing up to listen, help, and cheer others on.
Bob will be remembered as a father who demonstrated unconditional love, a neighbor who strengthened his community, and a friend who never failed to show up. His legacy lives on through Kristina and the many lives he touched with his compassion and courage.
A celebration of Bob's life will be held at the Evergreen Lake House on Friday, November 7, 2025, from 5–7 p.m.
