GARY LeRoY HAAGEN
September 7, 1949 ˜ January 25, 2026

Gary LeRoy Haagen, 76, passed away at his home, on January 25th, 2026. A Vancouver native born to LeRoy and Merle Haagen, Gary graduated from Evergreen High School in 1967. He was a University of Washington alumnus (1971) and earned his Doctorate of Chiropractic from the University of Western States. Gary proudly operated Haagen Chiropractic Clinic in Beaverton, OR, from 1978 until his retirement.

Gary shared 53 years of marriage with his beloved wife, Candace. He enjoyed skiing, world travel, and cooking, but was happiest at his beach house on the Oregon Coast. Above all, he cherished being “Papa” to his four grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife, Candace; son, Travis Haagen (Michelle); and daughter, Kristin Mazour (Kenny); mother, Merle (Mary) Haagen; sister, Linda Miller; brother, Dale Haagen; and grandchildren, Claire, Hudson, Candace, and Annabelle.

Saturday, March 14th, 2026, at 11:30 a.m.
Royal Oaks Country Club

I was HS class of 1965 and Gary followed me by a couple years. He was younger brother of Linda who I was dating at the time. Impressive young man who earned my respect and confidence. God Bless him and keep him close.
