OMAHA - Diana Lee Muth was welcomed into the loving arms of her Savior on Friday, April 5, 2024 at the age of 78. Dee was born on November 20, 1945 in Pomona, California to Martin and Luella (Wilken) Asche. Due to her father's job relocations, she had the opportunity to live in many different states including California, Oregon, Nebraska, Iowa, South Dakota, Colorado, Montana, and Kansas. Dee graduated from Arkansas City High School in Arkansas City, Kansas in 1964 and then attended classes at Cowley County Community College.
In 1968, Dee met Dennis Muth and they were married on April 25, 1970 at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Columbus. They settled on the family farm north of Columbus where she enjoyed her time raising her children.
Throughout her life, Dee had many careers including: stay-at-home mom, medical secretary, administrative assistant, and insurance agent. Dee was an active member of Living Water Lutheran Church in Omaha. Her previous congregations include: St. John Lutheran in rural Columbus, Immanuel Lutheran in Columbus, and Beautiful Savior in Omaha. Dee loved her family and friends fiercely and will be greatly missed.
Dee is survived by her husband, Dennis; her children: Eric (Emily) Muth, Sheila Psencik, and Carson (Natalie) Muth; her grandchildren: Grace Psencik, Beau Psencik, Lily Psencik, Clara Wise, Laura Wise, Benjamin Muth, Ella Muth, Collette Muth, Crossett Muth, and Lyda Muth, 16 nieces and nephews, 35 great nieces and nephews and 10 great-great nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Luella Asche; father, Martin Asche; brother, Martin "Bo" Asche; sister, Janice Trinklein; mother-in-law, Ethel Muth; father-in-law, Howard Muth; brother-in-laws, Michael Trinklein and Michael Stucky. A visitation with the family will be held at Living Water Lutheran Church in Omaha on April 26 from 4:00 - 6:00 pm. Dee's Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, April 27 in the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be directed to The Josie Harper Hospice House or Living Water Lutheran Church.
