Donna Sue Beck, 70, of David City, died Friday, February 6, 2026, at Methodist Hospital in Omaha.
Arrangements by Kracl Funeral Chapel of David City.
Funeral Service Thursday, February 12, 2026, 10 a.m. Kracl Funeral Chapel, David City. The Rev. Lee Seetin.
Visitation Wednesday, February 11, 2026, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., Kracl Funeral Chapel David City. Committal Cedar Lawn Cemetery, Gresham, Nebraska. Lunch following committal at the Gresham Community Center. Memorials to the family for future designation.
Donna Sue (Naber) Beck was born December 21, 1955, in York, Nebraska, to Richard and Nadine (Dey) Naber. She was baptized on January 1, 1956, at Peace Lutheran Church in Waco, Nebraska. When Donna was growing up she helped her dad on the family farm. She attended schools in Gresham and St. Johns south of Waco, and then attended Centennial public schools in Utica, graduating in 1974. On September 24, 1982, Donna was united in marriage to her kindergarten sweetheart Thomas Allen Beck, Sr. in Thayer, Nebraska. Donna had worked many jobs over the years, retiring from Henningsen Foods in 2013.
Donna enjoyed spending time with her four boys and her seven grandkids. She loved watching soaps and old TV shows and movies. When it was nice outside, she would sit on her back porch enjoying the sun and watching her grandkids play. Donna enjoyed working in her yard especially in her garden. She loved to can tomatoes and make homemade salsa. She enjoyed going to her grandkids events whenever she could.
Donna is survived by her four boys, Thomas Allen Beck, Jr. "TJ", of David City, Fred (Ashley Greenwood) Beck, of North Bend, Phil (Mariah) Beck of Friend, and Ted (Katie) Beck of Gresham; brothers, Richard (Lucy) Naber of Lincoln, and Allen (Kristen) Naber of Gresham; and seven grandchildren, Fred "Shorty" Beck, Jr. of Fremont, Haley and Tim Beck of Henderson, Nash and Brantley Beck of Friend, Arthur Beck of Gresham, Natalie Beck of North Bend.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Thomas Beck, Sr., infant son, and brother-in-law, Mike Beck.
