CARROLLTON, GA - Mrs. Donna Jean Borchers, age 68, of Carrollton, Georgia passed away on Friday evening, February 21, 2014.
She was born in Parris Island, South Carolina, the daughter of the late Robert Tyler and the late Thelma Louise Adams Tyler. She was employed with Sony Music as a Group Leader for twenty years and was a member of Grace Lutheran Church.
Survivors include her husband, LeRoy Borchers of Carrollton; children: Brad, Robert & Ida Borchers of Middleburg, Florida, Bryan Fredrick & Mirna Borchers of Villa Rica, and Charlotte Lee & Allen Edge of Carrollton; brothers: Robert, Curtis, Tyler of Mitchell, Nebraska and Joseph Tyler of San Diego, California; and six grandchildren.
In keeping with the family's wishes, the body will be cremated. Memorial services will be conducted at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, February 26, 2014 from Martin & Hightower Heritage Chapel with Rev. Michelle Kuhlman officiating. Inurnment will follow in Carroll Memory Gardens.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 5–9 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to Tanner Home Health Care, % Tanner Medical Center, 705 Dixie Street, Carrollton, Georgia 30117.
