Dorothy Nitsch

November 16, 1934 - September 14, 2024

Dorothy Nitsch, 89, of Osceola, Nebraska, died, Saturday, September 14, 2024 at Good Samaritan Society in Osceola.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, September 20, at 10:00 AM at Saint Andrew Cemetery, rural Osceola. Visitation will be on Thursday, from 3:00 PM – 5:00 PM at Gass Haney Funeral Home in Columbus.

Dorothy A. Nitsch was born on November 16, 1934, in Columbus, Nebraska, to Ernest and Ida (Rosendahl) Hoefelman. She attended grade school at St. John's Lutheran School and graduated from Kramer High School.

On August 1, 1962, Dorothy was united in marriage to Alfred Nitsch in Osceola. She worked at Becton Dickinson Medical as well as being a homemaker. She loved roses and enjoyed bowling. She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Columbus.

Dorothy is survived by nieces & nephews.

Dorothy was preceded in death by: Parents: Ernest & Ida Hoefelman, Husband: Alfred Nitsch, and Brothers: Kenneth (Marge) Hoefelman, LaVern Hoefelman, & Donlin Hoefelman.
