Harry Lee Wilson, 85, of Bellwood, died Monday, December 15, 2025, at Brookestone in David City.
Arrangements by Kracl Funeral Chapel, David City.
MASS WILL BE LIVE STREAMED ON KRACL FUNERAL CHAPEL FACEBOOK PAGE.
Memorial Mass, Monday, December 22, 2025, 10 a.m. St. Peters Catholic Church, Bellwood, The Rev. Stephen Graeve, Celebrant. Visitation Sunday, December 21, 2025, from 5 to 7 p.m. at church, with a 7 p.m. rosary, additional visitation Monday one hour before mass at the church. Committal with Military Honors by American Legion Post #327 and last call by the Bellwood Volunteer Fire Department, Bellwood Cemetery. Dinner at the Church Hall following committal.

Harry Lee Wilson was born March 10, 1940, in Columbus, Neb. to Harry and Gussie (Krichner) Wilson. He attended schools in Bellwood and graduated from Bellwood High School in 1957. He joined the U.S. Army in 1961 and was honorably discharged in 1965. He worked for several years at Columbus Hydraulics and then started work at Bellwood COOP in 1965 where he worked till his retirement. Harry and Peg Napier were married on June 26, 1965, in Bellwood at St. Peter's Catholic Church. Two sons, Brian and Travis were born to this union. Harry and Peg just had their 60th Anniversary in June. Harry was involved in the Bellwood Volunteer Department for 57 years. In the American Legion for many years, including being a boy scout leader. He was also involved in the Bellwood Baseball program, serving on the board, coaching and umpiring many games.
Harry is survived by his wife, Peg (Napier) Wilson and sons, Brian and Travis Wilson. He is also survived by his brother, Bob (Verla) Wilson; sister, Judy Hastings; sister-in-law, Mary Wilson, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Dan and Joe and two nieces, Stephanie (Wilson) Wesely and Jessica Bykerk.
