Isabel enjoyed working in the CCD program, Leading the rosary before Mass, American Legion Auxiliary, calling bingo at the Senior Center and delivering meals-on-wheels. Her love for sports found her following her grandsons to many games and cheering on those Huskers. She could be found most days taking a long walk around St. Ed.
She spent many important hours with her family vacationing, sharing celebrations, and just being a wonderful influence in all our lives.
Isabel is survived by her two sons, Charles and Maxine Svoboda, of Norfolk, and Gary and Margaret Svoboda, also of Norfolk; three step-children and their spouses, Charlene and Gene Shively, Jolene Fitchner, and Darlene and Kent Cruise, all of St. Edward; 18 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren; and 14 great-great-grandchildren.
