Jami Spale Obituary
May 1, 1986 - May 28, 2025
Jami Jo Spale, 39, of Norfolk passed away on May 28, 2025. She was born to Janet and Douglas Spale of Bellwood, Nebraska on May 1st, 1986. Jami graduated from Columbus Sr. High School and then went on to graduate Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Education at University of Nebraska at Omaha.
Jami was a proud mother of 4 wonderful children and is survived by Logan, Jordyn, Isaiah, and Blakely of Omaha; her parents Janet and Douglas Spale of Bellwood; her sister Shelly Spale (Todd) Cutler, and brother Jason Spale all of Omaha. Jami is also survived by many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brother Scott Spale of Gretna, grandparents James and Elva Spale of Columbus, and grandparents Lumir and Inez Bazata of Schuyler.
Jami was a loving and compassionate person, and her smile had a way of brightening the darkest days. Jami worked as a Family Permanency Specialist at Nebraska Families Collaborative. She was also talented at visual merchandising and enjoyed working in clothing retail.
Funeral arrangements are being handled by Gass Haney Funeral Home in Columbus. The funeral will be held 11am on Wednesday, June 4th at Trinity Lutheran Church; Lunch will be served following the service. The burial will follow at Schuyler Cemetery in Schuyler, Nebraska. Visitation will be from 10am-10:45am at Trinity Lutheran Church on Wednesday June 4th.
