Joseph Dineen Obituary
OMAHA - Joseph E. Dineen, 68, of Omaha, formerly of Columbus, died Saturday, June 21, 2003, at his home.
Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Robert Bellarmine Catholic Church with the Rev. Donald Shane officiating. Burial will be in Resurrection Mausoleum with full military honors by American Legion Post No. 1.
Visitation will be held 3-9 p.m. Monday with a 7 p.m. Rosary Monday in Westcenter Chapel.
Dineen was born March 5, 1935, in Pottawattamie County, Iowa, a son Helen Dineen. The father's name was not available from the funeral home. He was a longtime pharmacist and for 22 years owned Dineen's Pharmacy in Papillion.
Survivors include his wife, Dorene, of Omaha; two daughters: Kerry (Robert) Thomas of Overland Park, Kan., and Kimberly (Scott) Ochnoutka of Sioux Falls, S.D.; two sons: Joe (Jodi) Dineen of Lawrence, Kan., and Dr. John M. Dineen of Omaha; two stepdaughters: Sheryl MacKillop of Elgin, Texas, and Cynthia (Chris) Gillilan of Austin, Texas; one stepson: Rick (Karen) Nielsen of Omaha; seven grandchildren; and five step-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his mother.
