BELLWOOD -- Margaret J. "Peg" Piller, 80, died Saturday, Aug. 15, 2015, at david place in David City.
Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Bellwood Methodist Church in Bellwood. The Rev. Matt Fowler will officiate.
Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Tuesday at Kracl Funeral Chapel in David City.
Memorials to the family's choice.
Committal will be in Bellwood Cemetery.
Lunch will be served in the church basement.
Margaret was born March 28, 1935, in David City, to Marvin and Eunice (Noerlinger) Murphy. She attended schools in David City and graduated from David City high school in 1952. On May 24, 1958, she was united in marriage to Norman Piller at the Methodist Parsonage in David City.
They lived in David City for some time, then later bought a farm east of Bellwood in 1967. "Peg" had worked as an office manager for St. Joseph's Villa and later worked as a secretary for Bellwood Schools. She was a member of the Bellwood Methodist Church and the Bellwood American Legion Auxiliary.
"Peg" is survived by her husband Norman of Bellwood; daughter Marlys (Mark) Hagood of Weatherford, Texas; son Calvin Piller of Columbus; grandchildren, Jason Piller of Weatherford, Texas, Brandi Lynch and Brian Lynch both of Omaha, Katie Hagood of Longmont, Colorado; sisters, Barb (Jim) Reagin of Linden, Michigan, Kathy (Jim) Polak of California; sister-in-law, Eva Murphy of Wichita, Kansas.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Mike and Bill Murphy; and step-father Leo Nicolas.
